Welcome! I’m Jaclyn, Integrative Restoration Practitioner and the Founder of River + Rise.
I began my career as a pediatric emergency and surgical nurse, where I saw the strength of modern medicine, technology, and rapid intervention up close. I respect those systems deeply. They save lives every day.
But I also saw something they couldn’t always reach.
Even when treatment worked, people were often still carrying something — stress, fear, trauma, survival patterns that never fully left the body. Sometimes it showed up as anxiety. Sometimes chronic symptoms. Sometimes it looked like a life that technically worked, but didn’t fully feel like their own.
Around the same time, my own body was navigating postpartum complications, chronic migraines, and major life shifts.
I knew how to function. I knew how to push through. But I’ve never believed we’re here just to make it through.
So I started asking different questions.
What are our bodies actually holding?
What patterns continue to run beneath our lives?
And what needs to be cleared so the nervous system can finally operate the way it was designed to?
Because here’s what I’ve come to understand:
You can manage your life while carrying what was never fully resolved.
Or you can clear it — and step into the life that’s actually yours.
The one where you feel at ease in your body.
The one where you're creative, expressive, fully alive inside your own capacity.
The work I do is about restoring the human system.
Through restorative sessions, nervous system regulation + energetic clearing, we release what the body has been holding so the system can recalibrate and operate the way it was meant to.
Many people assume the goal is simply stability — symptom management, clearing, reset.
But that’s only the beginning.
Once the nervous system stabilizes and the body feels safe again, something else becomes possible: Expansion.
Expansion is what happens when you're not just stable, but powerful. Not just coping, but creating. Not just healing, but becoming the version of you who leads, builds, expresses, and lives fully.
I don’t see this work as separate from medicine or modern systems. I see it as strengthening the human foundation they all depend on. Because everything we build in the world — every system, every innovation, every community — ultimately rests on the stability and capacity of the human being.
River + Rise was created as a space for this work to live.
A place where restoration comes first — and from that foundation, people are able to expand into the full expression of their lives.
Because the end goal isn’t symptom relief, it’s a life lived at full capacity.
