Welcome

River + Rise is an integrative healing and restoration studio nestled beside the Connecticut River in downtown East Haddam.

The Studio

River + Rise holds a quiet paradox: rest and momentum exist together here.

People come to slow down, to breathe again + to reconnect with the deeper intelligence of their body. And from that place, things begin to move. Like the river beside it, the work here is both steady and quietly powerful.

The Space

The studio is located at 4 Norwich Rd. in East Haddam, Connecticut, just a short walk from the river and the historic swing bridge.

The space itself is simple, calm, and filled with natural light, creating an environment where the body can exhale a little more deeply.

Many people say that walking in feels like a breath of fresh air — the kind that settles your body and clears your head all at once.

The Sessions

Most visits to the studio are 90-minute Restorative Sessions, thoughtfully guided around what you are navigating in your body and life.

Each session unfolds differently. Some people arrive during a difficult season, while others come simply knowing something within them is ready to move.

The work meets you where you are and supports meaningful, lasting change.

The Ways We Restore

Sessions are intuitive and responsive, drawing from a range of modalities - including medical intuitive insight, spinal energetics, and subtle energy work - to help your system release what it’s holding, expand into who you truly are + integrate in a grounded way.
